Vladimir Katalov is CEO, co-owner and co-founder of ElcomSoft Co.Ltd. Born in 1969 and grew up in Moscow, Russia. He studied Applied Mathematics in Moscow Engineering-Physics Institute (State University); from 1987 to 1989, was sergeant in the Soviet Army. Vladimir works in ElcomSoft from the very beginning (1990); in 1997, he created the first program the password recovery software line has started from: Advanced ZIP Password Recovery. Now he coordinates the software development process inside the company and develops strategic plans for future versions.

Vladimir regularly visits various IT security- related events, conferences and trainings all over the world. He has shared his expertise through dozens of conference sessions. Since 2007 Martin has worked as a Product Specialist at Micro Systemation in Sweden as well as a Certified Trainer for Micro Systemation’s XRY Logical, XRY Physical and iPhone forensics courses world-wide. In his role as Product Specialist, he is one of the crucial links between the development department and the end-users, gathering and collecting requests for future improvements to MSAB’s products and also understanding local requirements in different countries. Nick Drehel is the Vice President of Computer Forensic Training at Syntricate, where he oversees the computer forensic training staff and developments innovative training solutions for Local, State, Federal, and International law enforcement agencies as well as worldwide corporate entities. Nick was the Director of Computer Forensic Training at AccessData from 2007 to 2014.

Nick’s background includes 32 years of law enforcement experience. Nick served as an investigator with the Houston Police Department where he worked with the Homicide Division before establishing the Computer Crime/Forensic Unit at the Houston Police Department in 1996 and developed the department’s policies and procedures for investigating computer crimes and conducting computer forensic examinations. Nick also served with the United States Secret Service Electronic Crimes Task Force in Houston for two years.

Nick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership with Mountain State University and was an Adjunct Professor with the University of Houston where he taught Introduction to Computer Forensics and Advanced Computer Forensics. Nick is a member of the High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA) and the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists (IACIS).

Buddy Tidwell is serving as the Director of Global Training for Cellebrite, the worlds leading Mobile Forensic Company. Formerly a Master Forensic Instructor for a major forensic software company, Buddy also served as the manager of the contract trainer program, locating and developing talented instructors to supplement the professional forensic training Staff. Prior to that, Buddy served as a Lab Manager and Senior Computer Forensic Examiner at the Joint Computer Forensics Lab for Law Enforcement in Middle Tennessee. Buddy served as an investigator for the District Attorney Generals Office and Dickson County Tennessee Sheriffs Department where he was the lead investigator in hundreds of Cyber Crime incidents and complex felony investigations. Buddy's twenty-four years of law enforcement experience includes service as an undercover narcotics agent and Agent in Charge of Vice Division, assignments to Crime Suppression Units and experience as a Sergeant at the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department. Buddy served as a member and leader of a specialized team of crisis negotiators for more than a decade. He has extensive experience in supervising and performing complex state and federal level criminal investigations as well as experience giving testimony as a recognized expert in the field of computer forensics in both Federal and State courts. Buddy regularly provided training to law enforcement agencies in the investigation of computer-related offenses, and the recovery of digital evidence. He also served as an instructor and developer of training material for the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists and an instructor and developer of curriculum at the University of Tennessee’s Law Enforcement Innovations Center. Chuan-Wei has 22 years of IT experience, assuming various IT management roles in the financial and telecommunication sector regionally and also serves as an adjunct lecturer with ISS-NUS and Temasek Polytechnic, and a guest lecturer with the Business Continuity Management Institute. In his free time, he partakes in standards work with the Singapore ITSC Security & Privacy Technical Committee (SPSTC); responsible for reviewing network and application security standards.

His financial background includes working in a Japanese bank's technology arm, UOB and Standard Chartered Bank where he was responsible for the strategic planning and review of IT security initiatives and operation management, as well as performing compliance reviews and support of internal and external audits.

He also worked at Nortel Networks, where he was manager (Systems Security) for Corporate Security in APAC responsible for information systems security involving the protection of intellectual property, systems integrity and computer forensic investigation.

As Radio Tactics' Product Training Manager, Mark Spyers is responsible for overseeing, planning and delivering all of Radio Tactics' customer training courses.

Previously, Mark has held a distinguished 30 year plus career within the UK Armed Forces which has nearly always involved some element of training including the trials of equipment, equipment training and the writing of detailed equipment reports as Trials Troop Leader at The Armoured Trials and Development Unit.

Following this, Mark has been on placement with the UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) as a Technical Equipment Advisor to their Defence and Security Export Support Team. This role involved liaising with companies providing impartial expert knowledge and evaluations of company products and carrying out product demonstrations at international exhibitions. Mark delivered presentations on equipment and technical matters to Royal, Political and Military leaders and delegations, advising on potential roles for the equipment within their Armed Forces, Police Forces and organisations.

It was whilst at the UKTI, providing assistance to global defence companies with their product demonstrations, presentations, exhibitions and training packages that Mark first worked with Radio Tactics in 2009. Since joining Radio Tactics in 2011, Mark continues to give live Radio Tactics product demonstrations and workshops at industry exhibitions around the world.

He is also the Associate Director of Institute of Business Studies in Lingnan University. Before he became an academic, Alfred had more than 10 years working experience in developing, maintaining and managing computer systems for shipping companies, factories, and various organizations in banking and finance. He has published 30 computer related books in Chinese and English. He is also the author of over a hundred articles in journals, proceedings, book chapters, newspapers and trade magazines.

He is a Chartered Scientist (CSci), Chartered Engineer (CEng), Chartered Mathematician (CMath) and Chartered Information Technology Professional (CITP) of the United Kingdom. His research interests are in the areas of Distributed Computing, Mobile and Wireless Security.
